Buttler's side now have better net run-rate than Scotland

England produced their best-ever bowling performance in a T20 World Cup as they crushed Oman for just 48 in Barbados.

Jason Roy then struck an unbeaten 20 off 10 balls as England reached their target in just 5.5 overs.

The victory gives England a crucial boost to their net run-rate, which could prove crucial in the race for the semi-finals.

England now have a net run-rate of +2.467, while Scotland are on +0.305. With both teams having one game remaining, England are in a strong position to progress to the knockout stages.

Oman's defeat means they are eliminated from the tournament, while England will face Scotland in their final group game on Friday.
